Last year as I was going through some old links I tried to view my original 250K WarcraftEcon interview and was saddened to find out that WarcraftEcon had gone offline. All that information, all those Hall of Fame interviews were gone forever.
For those of us who have been making gold for a long time, WarcraftEcon was one of the seminal gold-making resources and sources of inspiration. Perhaps best known for it’s Hall of Fame series of interviews WarcraftEcon was an important part of gold-making history.
I decided to contact Oligopoly who had run WarcraftEcon.net and see if I could help bring WarcraftEcon back to life and you know what? He said yes! Read on for more information on the return of WarcraftEcon. Continue reading →

WoW economic news has been slow lately. There isn’t much going on and we have no reason to push past 1 million gold. In fact every time I get close again, I end up giving a huge chunk of it away to friends and guildies. Although I haven’t been playing much WoW, I still stay up to date on the news and still read blogs. I enjoy the Diablo 3 editorials by Greedy Goblin / Daeity.
It’s interesting that the gold community doesn’t mention or really know about Tarou. He has made millions of gold, writes profession guides, created videos, and streams his auction house business. Did I mention it is all free? Yet most of us have never heard of him. Definitely check him out. Continue reading →
[Spoilers] For those eagerly waiting for Diablo 3, here is some new footage to hold you over. Runes are like glyphs, they change the function of your spells. In D3, they also change the animation significantly.
Danielle Elizabeth of Trade Chat has created a video that covers some recent Blizzard news. This is for those who like to get their information through a video rather than walls of text. She also created the video that features gold tips from some of our Hall of Fame gold capped players when the gold cap was 214k.

-What we are doing in game:
Chris: Did a FLs pug (me pugging is a big deal enough) with some douche bags that went over the line on a girl in the raid, I took our own advice and got some mechanical chickens, 4.3 launched and spent a lot of time “fixing” toons. Capped valor on 8 toons the first week and my 10 man went 4/8 normal in DS the first week despite being shorthanded and raiding only 5 hours that week. Continue reading →

It’s hard for me to pick a “main” but if I did it would be my disc priest Navanya , US-Malfurion. I’m 31 years old, married to the most awesome man in the world and am a stay at home wife. I started playing WoW in 2006 because I knew some people at the time that played it, I had honestly never played an MMO before and was never that interested in most video games – but something with WoW just clicked, and I was off to the races on my little gnome mage, I loved it – I loved everything about it. During BC I joined my first raiding guild, via that guild “Vanguards of Azeroth on Sargeras – US” I actually met my husband! So even beyond the pure entertainment that Blizzard has given me over the years I’m eternally grateful to them because I would never have met my husband otherwise (we lived like 1800 miles apart!) Currently, we have our own private guild which houses are army of alts and we really enjoy doing old content together, doing 5mans and now we LFR together! When I’m not busy in the World of Warcraft I take care of our two dogs, spend time with my friends, read, and dabble in photo and video editing which has been a hobby of mine for awhile.
